Finish the Study Guide for Tomorrow's Class
During class today we reviewed people and terms you may want to include on your essay for Friday. Now, for homework tonight, please review the three MAJOR documents you've completed about containment. They are: "Cold War Notes: Sino-Soviet Relations" (GDocs); "Containment in Korea, Japan and Taiwan" (Classroom); and "The U.S. and Containment in Vietnam" (Classroom) and begin creating a study guide as to what the containment successes and failures were for Japan (1945-1952), China (1945-1949), Tibet (1950), Korea (1950-1953), Taiwan (1950s) and Vietnam (1946-1964).
Remember, keep in mind that you want to be able to successful argue that the U.S. went from a successful containment policy in Europe by 1948 (Berlin) before the wheels began falling off in 1949 with China going commie.
You can continue working on the green paper document I gave you during class or use the digital copy I've included on Google Classroom.
